Suriname and the Holocaust

In 2016 the community unveiled a memorial monument to commemorate the 104 Surinamese Jews who were murdered in the holocaust. A video was created of the unveiling ceremony.
On International Holocaust Day 2020, the community added a plaque to the monument that explains the meaning of the Holocaust
